I like this motto very much, as it seems to me to be closer to the heart of Tolkien's tales than the "We Rule Them All" villians' motto. However, I'm trying to figure out where the motto comes from. Is it a quote from some part of the books that I cannot remember, since it's been a while since I've read them?
It's not from the books. I based It on the behave of J R R Tolkien's son. Who hardly will sell the rights of his father's work to anyone. Except The Hobbit and LOTR which is not in his power.
Ah, yes, that. Well, I can't say that I disagree with Christopher's stance. And now that I know that, the motto seems almost like a double entendre to me, because it still seems very appropriate to the heart of the tales. Thanks for the explanation!
I really dig these, but the motto is not the best.
